Membership Meeting - Jan 4, 2011

• Vice President Jean Geiger called the meeting to order at 7:00 pm.

• Approximately 28 people attended.  Following brief introductions, we proceeded to a short business meeting.

• Trip Report was given by Peggy Hampton on the Craftsbury,VT trip.

• Lake Louise leaves Wednesday, January 11,2011.

• Day trip to Nolde Forest is planned to Saturday, January 8, 2011.

• No officer reports made due to absences.

• Pam McMullen passed around a sign up sheet for Herby’s social as she needs to make reservations.

• The “People to Ski With” was just mailed to those who did not attend the Holiday Party.

• Evening program:  Tanya & Fred Richter – Camino de Santiago Compostela.

• We were entertained and amazed at their 700-mile trek from Southern France over the Pyrenees and across northern Spain to the Atlantic Ocean.

• Made 'ya just want to break out the Compeed and silk tape and get hiking!

• Meeting adjourned at 8:20 pm.
