Meetings

Meetings are usually held twice a month from November through April.

Program Meetings: We gather at 7:00 pm on the first Tuesday of the month. Meetings are held at Center Street Grille, 4 Center St, Enola PA, 717-732-6900.

Center Street Grille is on the east just south of PA-944/Wertzville Rd. Directions from the intersection of I-83 / PA-322 / I-283:

Follow I-83 S toward Harrisburg
Take exit 42 toward Lemoyne onto Lowther St
Turn right onto S 3rd St
Turn right onto Market St
Take the 1st left onto S Front St/S Enola Rd
Turn left onto PA-944 W
Turn left onto PA-944 W/Wertzville Rd
Turn left onto Center St
Destination will be on the left

Dinner Socials: We meet at 7:00 pm on the Wednesday fifteen days after each program meeting. We eat, gab and do a little informal business at these affairs. It's a nice time to get to know each other a little better.

Summer Activities: We usually schedule a variety of one-day summer activities including canoeing, hiking, concerts, baseball games, etc.

Saturday June 15 2013	Paddle & Picnic Paddle on Conodoguinet Creek ... dependent on sufficient water. End at Nan Reisinger’s home for picnic. Details to follow.
Tuesday July 2 2013	Take Me Out to the Ballgame! The Kick ‘n Gliders will go to watch the Lancaster Barnstormers at Clipper Magazine Stadium, 650 N. Prince St., in Lancaster. Schedule and Instructions: Meet at 5:30 pm for dinner at The Brickyard Restaurant and Sports Bar, 415 N. Prince St, just a short walk to the stadium. Game starts at 7:00 pm. Tickets for field box seats are $12. Send a check, made out to Kick ‘n Gliders, to the club’s PO box by June 20, to reserve your place Make sure to indicate: how many tickets and whether you will join us for dinner. Saturday July 27 2013	Music in the Vineyards Enjoy a romantic evening under the stars as the best of regional variety bands, light-rock and oldies groups perform for your listening pleasure and for dancing on tree-shaded patios. Bring a picnic supper, good friends and lawn chairs or a blanket for all. Kay and Bill Pickering will lead the activity. Concert will feature the SilverHawks ... classic rock, soul & Motown. General Admission: $15 per person. Credit cards and out-of-area checks not accepted at admissions tent. 3:00 pm Saturday, Oct 19, 2013	Season Opener - Ox Roast Event to be held at Black Birch Hollow, home of Dave LeRoy and Nancy Kauhl. Cost: $5 and bring food to share and your own drinks. Reservations requested. Someone will take your reservation, record what sort of food you intend to bring and give you directions to Black Birch Hollow.

Bill and Sandy are delighted, once again, to host the annual Kick 'n Glider Christmas Party at their home in Lancaster. Join your fellow Kick 'n Gliders for this festive holiday gathering. It’s a chance to meet new members, swap stories about past exploits on the ski trails, and plan for an exciting 2013 ski season. As usual, bring a dish to share with others and a beverage of your choice.
