Meetings

Meetings are held twice a month from november through April.

Program Meetings: We gather at 7:00 pm on the first Tuesday of each month. Our meeting place is under review. Meetings are held at Rookies Sports Bar, 2238 Derry St, Harrisburg, PA, 717-561-0030. Rookies is on the north side of the street between 22nd and 23rd. Directions from the intersection of I-83 / PA-322 / I-283:

Follow I-83 SOUTH
Take Exit 45 to merge onto Paxton St toward Bass Pro Dr
Turn right onto S 29th St
Take the 2nd left onto Derry St
Rookies Sports Bar will be on the right

Dinner Socials: We meet at 7:00 pm on the Wednesday fifteen days after the program meeting. We eat, gab and do a little informal business at these affairs. It's a nice time to get to know each other a little better.

Summer Activities: We usually schedule a variety of one-day summer activities including canoeing, hiking, concerts, baseball games, etc.

3:30 pm Saturday, Oct 15	Season Opener - Ox Roast Event to be held at Black Birch Hollow, home of Dave LeRoy and Nancy Kauhl. Cost: $5 and bring food to share and your own drinks. Reservations requested. Call Pam McMullen at 717-200-1111 or e-mail her at pmcmullen@comcast.net. She will take your reservation, record what sort of food you intend to bring and give you directions to Black Birch Hollow. See the September 2011 Issue of Easy Glider for details.

Bill and Sandy are delighted, once again, to host the annual Kick 'n Glider Christmas Party at their home in Lancaster. Join your fellow Kick 'n Gliders for this festive holiday gathering. It’s a chance to meet new members, swap stories about past exploits on the ski trails, and plan for an exciting 2012 ski season. As usual, bring a dish to share with others and a beverage of your choice.
