Meetings
Meetings are held twice a month from October through April.
Program Meetings: We gather at 7:00 pm on the first Tuesday of each month in the Community Room of Wildware Backcountry, 995 Peiffer's Lane, Harrisburg, Pa. 17109 (717-564-8008). Afterwards we generally visit the nearby Your Place for snacks and a brew.
Dinner Socials: We usually meet
at 7:00 pm on
the Wednesday fifteen days after the program meeting. We eat, gab and do a
little informal business at these affairs. It's a nice time to get to
know each other a little better.
Members are asked to PLEASE avoid parking in the small lot that serves
Wildware. There is parking at the top and to the right of the
drive leading to the store. There is also a parking lot
behind the Wildware store. It is reached by turning at
Sunnycrest from Peiffer's Lane.

Ox Roast/Covered Dish Dinner
& Trip Sign-Up It’s that time, again. Time to enjoy the fall air, renew acquaintances with old and new Kick ‘n Gliders, eat, drink, collect your personal copy of the Season Guide and, oh, yeah, pay your dues and sign up for ski trips! Membership Mtg: A Closer Look Matt Willen, who authored “60 Hikes Within 60 Miles: Harrisburg” once calculated that one year he spent 250 days sleeping in a tent. Matt has tons of hiking, camping, outdoor experience because of working for Outward Bound for many years.
